What about Pre-Tan #110

Is Pre-Tan # 110 use by itself or combined with Saftee-Acid during the pickling process? What method would someone out there recomend?

I guess you have 2 options - use one or the other. I obviously dont have any experience with any Pre-Tans, but I do know that by itself, Saftee Acid (with Salt) should do a good job as a pickle. The only other material I would personally add to a pickle would be an acid bate for additional softening qualities.

Thanks Bruce. Saftee Acid is working out fine, so I'll stick with it. What is BATE and what is used as BATE? Thanks again.
