I just reasently learned the steeps of tanning a deer hide an was going to pratice on somthing smaller such as a squirl. What I was wandering is that if all the steeps an time in the pickle would be the same? I would really be gratefull for any comments that would help!! I still have alot to learn Chris!!!!!!

use the same process, the skin is thinner so the time COULD be shorter, but leaving the time frame the same wouldnt hurt it. You could probably get a deer skin to practice with from some one on the forum, deer hides are not worth much except someones time to send it.
