I haven't done many canadian geese and the few that I have done haven't been terribly large. I'm getting ready to mount one that's around 13lbs. and was wondering what most guys use to attach a goose to driftwood or whatever. In the past I've found wire big enough, but I don't want to use a steel rod the size of my thumb. Thanks for the input.
I dig out a cavity in the manikin. Mount the bird, then feel for the hole and make a slit. make a hook on the altread insert into cavity and fill with bondo. then pull the skin back together you can pin it or sew it.hope this helps. TH
