Is it necessary to remove bone marrow from geese? At what size of bird does it become O.K. to leave it in place ?

i would remove it from the goose & birds of that size & bigger.. duck not to bad just but some borax in them.clean out the marrow with some wire.
I remove bone marrow on every bird I mount, Use a dremel tool to drill small hole's in each wing and leg at the extreme ends of each, using compressed air to blow through, be sure to cover opposite end exit point with a towel, this will catch any oils and marrow, you will never leave that stuff in a bone again. good luck
