What is the best mount for a turkey, to be used as a display? I will be mounting a turkey to display at a NWTF local banquet for advertisement.

With an excellent turkey skin mount the fluffiest, prettiest turkey possible. Be sure that you are confident in reproducing it many times as well, because what people see is what they most often want. After mounting hundreds every year what they see in our show room is what they want, usually. 85% of all the mounts that we do are some form of a strut pose.
Everything Rick said is right. People like to see their turkeys puffed up. The second favorite pose is flying, but it could be hard to find a way to hang it at a banquet, so I would stick to some form of table mount.
