I am new to taxidermy and would like to know how long a specimen will keep in the freezer. I have eight ducks in the freezer now. They were frozen in plastic bags with the feet and head wrapped in moist paper towels. They have been in the freezer for two years and I am wondering if they are still mountable.

As long as your freezer is good (not frost-free) and is set to a low temperature. you should be fine.
