How big should a bird be to start considering bone marrow removal? Obviously a turkey needs this as there's quite a bit of matter in the leg bones and "forearm" section of the wing. However, should birds in the mallard/pheasant size also have bones reamed out? Thanks, GW.

I would remove all bone marrow so you don't have any problems in the future.
