Ladies and gentlemen Iuse artificial heads whenever possiableand I have 2 questions.1. Do Ihave to use a primer on the bill before I paint or not. 2.On artifical bills do Ihave to use special paint such as polytranspar or con I use a waterbase paint from the local hobby store with the proper colors I need. I prefer to use a spray enamel primer, let it dry and paint with laquer. But you can use acrylic paints also. The water base paint the suppliers sell works just fine. You can use the primer with either. There is no mold release used on our heads so that shouldn't be a problem. The grey primer sticks to Urethane better than some other paints.
