By chance does anyone have any canvasbacks or ruddy ducks that they are not using. I really want to taxidermy these two species. I would be willing to trade wood ducks or other species.

The "buying", "selling" or "barter"(trading) of wild shot birds if strictly forbidden by Federal regulation. I will therefore assume that you are looking for pen raised birds. Canvasbacks and ruddies are among the more expensive pen raised birds and they may be hard to find.

You didn't state that in your request for the ducks. Any activity here that involves waterfowl will be questioned, if it appears that there is ANYTHING that may not be legal. Intentionally or through lack of knowledge of the laws. If you had clearly stated that you want pen raised birds, no one would have said a thing. As for your last question...I don't know you so I can't answer that.
Since we all know what you know mean. its cool. But with the drug trade, and all the other crap going on in the world. I taught mabe you were a Fed. Warden trying catch some poor starving taxidermist.
I bet if you are a Fed we can find enough crooked Taxi. out there to get you that raise for filling your quota.

I'm a Federal Agent and a part time taxidermist. I am not aware of any pay raise that we get for filling a quotas, nor am I aware of any quotas. You should not poke at people b/c of their job or for keeping taxidermy a legitimate profession. After all, the government does not poke at you for your writing skills or lack there of.

But on the serious side Jason, I do see many young guns (inexperienced in life and dealing with people) get carried away with thier Authority because they carry a badge and a gun. I see a few older people with badges and guns get carried away to.
Its atypical confusion that Authority equals power.
I have some real good friends long time friends that are Game Wardens, it take a hell of alot better people to be game wardens than local cops. When your out in the woods checking someones limit if ducks, you have to have cander and curticy (just fur u) our you might never be found.
So lighten up, dont let college go to your head, all the college in the world cannot dead reckon you out of the wilderness. Each of us in our own way have enough knowledge to write several books.
