I was just wondering where are the most bird taxidermist located in Canada and U.S.A. ?

Sorry, I read the title and couldn't resist. Check on the home page of this website and look at the "Taxidermists' Web Pages" page. This kinda shows where areas of concentration are - mostly where you would find a concentration of birds.

My vote is for the USA just because of the population numbers and the percentages. I may be wrong here, but I thought all competent taxidermists mounted birds right along with all the other critters.

Of course, this is the age of specialty, then, isn't it? Isn't it? Anyone has the right to specialize, but most taxidermist starve to death when they do. Wholesalers are a different breed of cat. The fellows who go way out on limbs and declare themselves "specialists" of one kind or another are a new breed of cat, as things go.
