I have a tail panel from Van Dykes and it is giving me a big headache.
In the center of the oval panel is a square recessed hole. Well when you lay the fan in there and place this round capping piece on it
the feathers flare up in the back and the center piece splits. I have tried bondo in the recessed area and a piece of wood. All of my efforts are down the tubes and nothing has worked. If anyone has used these please help! Or if you have any ideas what to do with it other than throw it in the trash I would be grateful.
thank for any help you can give.

But don't things like that come with instructions.. and if it didn't I'm sure you can call Van Dyke's and they will give you the scoop on what to do...
Good Luck to you..

Hello Ida,
Monday morning, please give Dan Moon a call at (1-800)843-3320 Ext.105
Dan is the new Product Specialist at Van Dyke's and will be more than happy to help you out. At times, instructions have been accidently forgotten to be put into the kit. Dan can either send orfax them to you or could tell you over the phone how to assemble the kit.Be sure you tell him which kit you have being that there are several tail kits for Turkey's that we carry.
Have a great day,
Dave
THANK YOU DAVE FOR THE NAME AND PHONE NUMBER AND MOSTLY YOUR TIME.
