Hello my granpa who lives in germany said I could have his old bussard and falcon mounts but I do not know if they are legal to bring in to the U.S. Thanks to all that reply, Oliver.

Depends on the species and the CITES status. Buteo hawks are called "buzzards" in europe and the one he has is probably a buteo and not a vulture. Some falcons are rare and endangered and enjoy a restricted status. I suggest you find out the species involved and start from there. There may be no prohibition if the works are accompanied by certification pertaining to dates of orgin, place of origin, etc. The place to start on your end is the USFWS and your grandfather should begin with the German Government to get things in order.
