Wash then freeze?

Hi there,

I'm doing my first turkey mount. I've skinned the bird and used the wire wheel to get off all the fat, tissues, etc.

I won't be mounting the bird for about a week or so, perhaps longer. Should I wash now and then freeze or should I freeze as is and wash, etc. once I'm ready to mount?

wash first

If you wash first the skin will stay nice and not dry out on you, but a short time wont hurt, if you don't wash it first.
