getting ready to mount a turkey.. just read the artical in Breakthrough by Cally Morris on mounting them & have seen him mount then first hand a few years back.. question is do i need to sand the form first before i use the caulk?

If the Turkey is in a full strut or you are trying to puff up the feathers a bit it wouldn't hurt. Matter of fact it won't hurt to do it any way. It does help the feathers to stay put during the drying process reguardless wheather your using caulk of not
