Howdy all, my question is this. I have mounted a few waterfowl birds the past couple of winters and I have a wood duck that has been sitting in the freezer for about 4 years (I know, way to long) I have skinned and degreased and tanned it with bird tan from WASCO but the feet seem way to freezer burnt to try to use. I was thinking of trying the artifical feet WASCO offers. What do you experts think? And could you tell me the process. I was thinking about just glueing the skin around the artifical foot like you would use an artifical head and then sliding the drum stick bone down the wire so I would have the proper lenth. Am I on the right track here. Thanks so much for any help.

Use warm soapy water and an insulin syringe. start with the pad and then the toes and tarsus works great.
