One day two years ago this crazed Kingfisher decides to fly into a window at the warehouse I work at, after sitting stunned on the ground for a minute or two, it recovered and proceeded to fly into the window beside the first it hit. Again sitting stunned... after it recovered, it circled the warehouse, and finally flew through one of the overhead loading doors which happened to be open, on the other side of the building. This bird flew around the warehouse until it got into a stairway, almost hitting the unlucky person coming out of the stairway door; and then managed to fly into a wall, break its neck, and land in an abandoned elevator in the basement.Where it has been sitting semi-preserved for two years. So my question is, is a kingfisher carcass or skeleton legal to keep ? Iwould like to take the meat off and glue the skeleton together. No bugs have gotten to it that I can see, it still looks completely intact.

You cannot own or have in you posession any protected bird (not even a toe nail), especially a migratory one.
