Does anybody know where I can get a pair of Old Squaw tail feathers ( the sprigs )?
I have a mounted drake Old Squaw without the two long tail feathers, and as you can guess......it just looks strange without the two long tail-feathers.

PLEASE HELP.
E-mail me...........

Kevin,

try using Pintail feathers. They are not exactly like the tail feathers on an Old Squaw...but they are the closest thing to them and a lot easier to aquire I would think.

Not on the Chesapeake. We seldom get matue sprigs up here but the old squaws come to the bay by the tens of thousands each winter. Funny you should mention that. Up HERE we use old squaw sprigs on our pintails. LOL

remove the primary wing feathers of a mature crow and use scissors to trim each side to make it more slender
