I just got done skinning out a grouse and when skinning the quill area I noticed that the skin nearly all detached from around the quills. I tried to sew it back but there is no skin around the quills to sew to. What can I do.

or detatch the tail completly. Mount as you normaly would then attatch the tail with bondo. carefully glue the skin back to the tail area with super glue. make sure you have the skin and feathers in correct area as you glue it on because you will not have much time to adjust.
