First, this bird is legal with all appropriate paper work.
I was mounting it for the National Bird Observatory in CO. Unfortunately the bird was shot with a shotgun in late summer, unknown amount of time evolved before poacher took it to another taxidermist, where it was confiscated by DOW, then unknown what happened in their possesion. Needless to say the feathers are falling out and it is heading for the dumpster. Does anyone know of another organization that would have one they would donate to the National Bird Observatory to replace this one. They would need the proper paper work for a different bird.
