Zap-A-Gap

I`m going to try an artificial duck head but can`t locate any Zap-A-Gap glue here in Canada. Is it just a gel type super glue or what ? I really don`t want to order from stateside unless I have to.

Any cyanoacrylate will work just fine. I like my super glue the watery type anyway as it only takes a very thin coating to attach the skin to the head. The Zap-A-Gap or gap filling superglues just make me uneasy with their globs of applications.

Hobby stores...

Im in southern Ontario and get it from a local hobby shop that has craft supplies and models etc. To ensure clean application simply palcve a couple of drops on scrap piece of cardboard etc and use a thin wire to pick some up and aply it in place. Incredibly accurate way of applying the glue - I use that for pewter miniatures only an inch tall (gluing arms on etc). One misplaced drop and I ruin a $25 model! If you have a comic store that sells pewter miniatures for wargaming or roleplaying near you - they are another good place to look for it. Most large urban centres will have a "Games Workshop" store that will have it.

Super glu Gel

I recommend the gel. It's easy to apply and stays where you put it. My experience is that the regular stuff loves to wick up into feathers. George has a good eye and a steady hand I don't.
