What color eye do I use for this pheasant - male. This bird has been in the freezer a while, and hard to tell what color the live eye might have been.

The color of the males eye is a creamy yellow.

One of the best sources of eye colors is in a book "Advanced Taxidermy" by P.A. O'Connor published in England in 1983. ISBN number is 086230 0622. You might be able to locate it through a used book dealer. It has the most complete list that I've come across.
