Eye Color Female Common Merganser

I've searched the archives, and internet extensively to find a definate answer for what color of eye the common merganser has, specifically the female. I've found contradictory information, the Tohickon list is what I normal use, but I've found a couple other references as well. Just wanted to post this question to you all, for you opinons. Thanks

Use a 9mm brown. I prefer Tohickon 123's

try a med brown not dark and 11mm works better 10mm at the smallest
