removing paint from legs

I got to much paint on ring neck legs. Whats the best way to strip it off. Its waterbase paint. I used a tooth brush and soapy water once and it took parts of the outer layer of the leg off and paint wouldnt stick to it. Can you use a paint stripper like klean kutter or zip strip on them.THANKS

lacquer thinner

If you have not sealed your paint job,lacquer(sp) thinner on a paint brush will disolve the water base paint. You will then be able to wipe them clean.

or acetone

Will take it off immediately.
