i am mounting my first turkey and i was wondering if you can borax the head as you can when mounting a goose or duck any help is aprecciated Billy

If you flesh it thoroughly it won't rot, but you probably won't be very happy with the results.
Skin-mounting a turkey head so that it LOOKS like a turkey head is a long involved process which takes (at least in my case) as long as mounting the rest of the bird. I avoid doing it whenever possible.
You would be much better off purchasing either a cast plastic head or a freeze-dried one.

the time saved and the results are worth the extra cost to do. Noonkester is who I use, they turn out pro job.( painted or unfinished)
