I have a Turkey I shot last season, I did a full fan on a plaque with beard and feet, I also have both wings. I want to mount the wings in the flying position, but am not sure how to go about preserving the wings...do I need a wire in it....I was thinking about injecting them will this work?
Any help I can get will be greatly appriciated..

Here's what I do: First, clean all the meat off the bones adding Borax to make pulling easier. Scrape the bones completely clean. Put the wings in the flying position, pin to a cardboard piece and add more borax. Let sit for a while to completely dry. Shake off the extra borax. Finally, add hot glue to the wing bone area forming a half moon. Let dry. I like to cut a paper bag or pieces of cardboard in the same half moon shape. Add a few dabs of hot glue and place the "moon" over the wing bone. Now finally attatch to your panel with the appropriate lenght screw. Go to www.walnutcreekhardwood.com for a terrific panel selection.
Good Luck,
