have found this answered in arc.but just need an opionion have a turkey brought to me weight is 26lbs was skined out but wings were not skun out then was frozen for two years not wrapped tiet at all cust.really wants this bird done if i soak for 20-30 min.let drain wrap in plastic bag put in fridge for a day or two will skin relax enough to flesh and mount this bird?thanks for ever ones time glen

I think if you finish skinning the bird, wheel it, wash it, put it in a bag soaking wet and FREEZE it. It will relax and you can work on it.If it seems to dry to wheel wash it first, and than wheel it. It should mount up fine
