How can I pluck feathers to use them. The partridge broke her neck when she flew into the window. knocked out the window too. Can i use needle nose pliers to remove the feathers so i can use them?

This reminds me of when I was a young plucker. We raised hundreds of chickens and butchered them for a local grocery store twice a year. We got so good and so quick we called my mom the mother plucker. She never saw the humor in it though.
