anyone use real duck heads? i need a competition quality mount and i've heard of people using real heads instead of atrifical. any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I almost always use the real heads ... but, when you say you need a competition quality mount, are you wanting to DO one or have one done?
My first choice for competition would be to cast the head myself ... if the (&*%%^&*&^##!) thing will cast correctly. (Sore subject at the moment ...)
Otherwise, if you use the real head, be prepared to do some extensive and very time consuming shrinkage repair.
