Is there anyone who sells the molds to make one's own foam bird bodies? I want to buy some. Thanks.

I can custom make molds for you in fibreglass, plaster or high quality silicone. E-mail me if interested and include information on what species and poses you would like.
Alternatively - search 'carcass casting' in the archives and learn to do them yourself. Using plaster for example - it is very cost effective to make your own mold for each specimen ensuring an acurate fit every time. just a thought...
It really does not make sense to make molds for bird bodies. You can carve them yourself out of bulk foam in minutes-to custom fit the bird you are working on. More often than not, a commercial bird mannikin has to be slightly altered to fit a bird properly anyway. Custom carving them yourself avoids this step, and it's much cheaper. With a little practice, you will be able to carve your own bodies in just a few minutes.
With a quality mold and expanding foam - you can save a lot of money depending on the number of birds you do in a year. For example - if you mount 30 quail a year - it would cost you around $130 for all those forms. I could do a mold for less than that that you will get a LOT more than 30 pulls out of. Over 100 wouldn't surprise me at all and if you treat it properly - a mold like what I would make would never wear out. Now if you only plan to do say 6 of any one shape or size etc - then it's definately not worth it. It's definately something to consider for the professional taxidermist who does a lot of repetitive work for customers. It's faster and cheaper to cast your own over purchasing or carving bodies =)
