Hi,
I need a place to send my turkey head for freeze drying and also instructions on mounting it correctly. This will be my first turkey mount and fortunately it will be my own turkey. Any help will be appreciated... Thanks, Sandy

If you only have 1 turkey head to do, I would just go ahead and buy an extra stock head from Hazel Creek (Cally Morris) or Anthony Eddy.
The reason is the cost of shipping it to them frozen via. 2nd day air. It will be cheaper to just buy one already done. Save the one you have, frozen in a sandwich bag with water, because it will be good for credit later on when you have enough of them to make it worthwhile.
For mounting instructions, I suggest you get one or more videos on the subject. I think WASCO sells several.
Sandy,
There are several advertizers for freeze-dried turkey heads that are listed in the supplier section of this website. Check out Hazel Creek which is run by Cally Morris. I think that you will be very satisfied with his product.
As for mounting turkeys, some of the best articles that I have ever seen are in a three part series of recent back issues of Breakthrough Magazine,(issues 66,67,& 68). You can also get to their site from here very easily.
Hope that this helps some. Good luck.
Brian
