I am working on a turkey, going to do a plaque with tail fan,wings on side,both feet and beard...........but I ran into a problem today, when I thawed out all these parts I noticed 3 feathers missing right out of the middle of the tail fan.
Can I still make a fan without the 3 feathers(these are the long ones)and still have a nice looking fan?

You can arrange the feathers to lay evenly with no gap, but it probably won't look all that great without at least one center feather.
There are all sorts of turkey fans and feathers being sold on Ebay almost every day. You could probably pick some up fairly cheap.
