An Artificial Pheasant head that actually works!

Just got back from the N.D.T.A Competition. The guy who won best bird(pheasant) in the Masters Division turned me on to a new product from Corey Caruthers...if I butchered his name I'm sorry...The artificial head can be ordered in the Matuska catalog! I myself have struggled mightly with wattles on pheasants...At the shop I work at, we use the real skull with clay to build it up...I think most people still do! I've messed around with artificial in the past, but most were way to big or lacked detail...these seem to work real well...I rushed home and tried one on a pheasant and can't believe the results...By far the best pheasant I've ever done! Not to mention in 1/4 of the time it took me to do it the old way! Just thought this would be useful to anybody else who has struggled with wattles!

Rick, Cory has a whole line of bird heads comming out soon sold by Matuska....I just got back form the Ia show and if you ever get the chance to talk with Cory , He's a hell of a nice guy....Ive used his heads for the past 2 yrs now and just put my highest score a 95 up this past weekend using Cory's pheasant head. You are right its a easy and perfect head to use. I cant say enough about them.
Good Luck to you Rick, Jeff
