I have a snow goose with green (what appears to be some form of manure) stains on it HEAD that I CANNOT get out. Any suggestions? I have read the archives, but I've tried all those suggestions! I had no problem getting blood and dirt stains out, but the green just won't go away. Any help suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

I had the same problem on a wood duck. It had maure all over its belly and every thing I tried wouldn't get it out. It was shipped frozen with the stuff all over it. I cleaned it the best I could and mounted it, but the white feathers still look stained.
Snow geese LOVE winter wheat fields. They dig up the shoots and throw mud and grass all over themselves. Quite comical to watch but can be tough to remove. Try using RIT White Wash as a paste on the wet feathers. Try RIT Rust Remover the same way. Brush it in, leave it on for a few minutes and then wash. You might also try Oxy-Clean. I've tried it on a few birds lately with some good success.
Head down to Wal-Mart and get yourself a bottle of WINKS rust and stain remover. It is in a tan plastic squeeze bottle. Just squirt some of this on the stain and watch it wash away. Then rince clean.
