I need to know more about Alaskan Ptarmigans.I have seen them in the for sale ads here and would like to buy some but I need to know if it is legal according to the migratory bird act to possess and buy.I am fully licensed and know the laws as they pertain to birds but apparently they are legal, as they are on here alot.I just want one to have for display since they aren't native here.

How the hell could you be fully licensed and not know the difference between an upland game bird and a migratory bird ? Maybe that test in PA should go nation wide. EXCUSE ME, but ptarmagin DO NOT MIGRATE !
