pheasant kill

I have a customer that has 2 live pheasants that he wants mounted. How would I go about killing therse birds

In all likelyhood they are full of pinfeathers right now. They might look fine while they are alive but any feather that isn't hardened off at the base will probably fall out during the mounting process.
They should be ready by about November if they are older birds or a little later if they are this year's hatch.
As for the actual killing?

Pheasant kill

Place the pheasants back on the ground. Place your finger over one lung and your thumb over the other lung. Just press down hard and sqweeze. Only takes a minute or so.
