I have check the archives and just can't seem to find the exact answer I am looking for. I have a pair of turkey feet to put on a panel with the beard and fan. I want to inject them with preserv-it. My question is- I inject the feet and the pad but what about the actual leg? Do I inject it under every scale, every half inch? I just am not comprehending this very well and am starting to get frustrated. I know it can be done and would like to accomplish it. Thanks for your time,

I don't know about everyone else but heres how I do it.Some supply companies offer extra long needles.I think they are about 3-4 inches long.I have one of those and I slip it down the outside of the leg as far as I can go and pull it out slowly, injecting as I go.If I cant get it far down the leg enough then I will go thru the bottom of foot back toward spot I started at and pull out while injecting.Hope this helps
