I recently purchased an outstanding flying turkey mount..only problem is..there is some skin missing on both of the turkey legs..the bone is showing..any suggestions on how to repair this? Thanks, Char (tweetyc200@hotmail.com)

.....to cut the old feet from the mount and replace them with new ones.You can even get repro feet to replace them with if you can't find real ones from a turkey hunter.If this bird has large spurs, they can be removed and fitted to the replacement feet. Good luck....JL
Get your hands on some type of epoxy compound and sculpt it over the missing skin and "blend" it in to the sourounding areas-then texture the epoxy to match the skin around it...................then paint it to match the rest of the feet. You probably would just want to re-paint both feet. As far as the epoxy goes.............I like All-Game. C.
