ON A DRAKE OLD SQUALL WILL IT HURT THE TAIL TO TUMBLE IT IN THE DRY W/ CORNCOB GRIT TO DRY IT? AND ON SURF SCOTTERS DO YOU CUT OUT ON THE BILL THE SAME AS ANY OTHER DUCKS FOR THE FIRBEE HEADS

Treat these birds like any other duck. Oldsquaw tend to mount up better if you do them soon. It seems like the side pocket feathers get a mind of their own after being in the freezer for a year or more. On the surfies, Tony Finazzo (Van Dyke Supply) has the best surf heads by far. Mike
