I've been mounting only ducks for the past five years, and have become quite good at it.I've lived in alberta's prarie pothole region for a few years and have hunted numurous spiecies. All along my journies I have never encountered a drake wood duck. Now I recently moved to baffin island in the arctic for work, and could be here awhile.Anyone want to give one away to an avid collector.

I was recently taught about a law that I was having trouble finding info about.... in it (in the US at least) it states that migratory gamebirds can be given to someone else, but only at the abode (home) of donor or donee. So you'd have to find someone to visit on Baffin Island or prepare for a long trip to get it. You're probably better off looking for captive bred drake woodies....
You ought to check with your local authorities. US laws obviously aren't applciable in yer neck of the woods. If Canada says you can buy, sell, or trade ducks, then knock yerself out. If someone down here breaks the law in a trade, its likely their problem, not yours.
Or trade etc
IN CANADA it is a federal offence to offer for sale migratory birds and or parts of nore can you barter within. In Canada contact the
Canadian Wildlife Service in Ottawa.
