Im currently haveing problems makeing a Hutchinson goose look correct on a standing mount. Compared to the head/neck the body looks huge. Is this normal? I eyed a gw teals bill to the gooses bill and the teals was bigger. Not sure what I should do but go play with him for a few more hours. Frustrating!

i don't know if you have good reference materials or not, but if you don't type in hutchinson goose pictures in your search engine and it will come up with more than you can look at in a days time.also did you compare the form to what the actual body size was? e-mail me a picture and maybe i can help-- i've done 8 or nine in the past few years and as long as i took good measurements they turned out fine. i will say that most of the forms did have to be altered some to facilitate a standing pose- most seemed to be a little wide in the breast area and the side pocket area had to be carved out deeper to allow the wings to be folded and placed so the side pocket feathers would cover the wings like they're supposed to.
