Hello just a friendly visitor.

I certainly hope this request doesn't break any rules of this forum or seem innapropriate? I am interested in purchasing a Raven, and possibly even pursuing taxidermy as a hobby. If anyone has has such a bird for sale in their collection, please feel free to contact me with a price, I would really appreciate it!

What you are asking breaks federal and international law - so thats a bigger concern!

You cannot purchase migratory birds - they are all protected.

Just wondering

You see people asking for ravens, woodpeckers etc alot here - and yes I know there federally protected..but so are wood ducks, green wings etc. but you can buy them when there pen raised, properly marked etc., are people allowed to pen raise crows, ravens ..raise they're own wood peckers.. what's the difference there?
I'm sure I'll get blasted for even asking and I hope that guy George, if he sees this is in a good mood lol - but I've always wondered about this...
Thanks

I don't know of too many people who raise north american species, but other species are raised quite frequently. They generally carry quite a large price tage. For instance, a pair of Hooded Crows, I think they are from Siberia, may be wrong, go for like $1500 each.
