Can anyone suggest a book on examples of mounted divers and puddlers, either sitting, standing or in flight. I am a novice and would prefer natural settings, i.e. drift wood, spiker rush, etc. I recently mounted a ring-necked hen, standing on drift wood, and had a heck of a time situating her neck in a natural position. Maybe I was trying too hard to make her appear nestled. I am happy enough with her, but I am adding a drake ring-necked to the same piece of drift wood.
Thanks for any help.
