Here is a pic of my first attempt at a flying bird and my first attempt with an airbrush. This is the 2nd bird i have ever mounted.. What do you think? It is not the greatest pic because it is still on the mounting stand and is angled up a little more than it will be when i get it on a piece of drift wood..Let me know what you think..

Great job. The bird is a plump one too and you layed out the feathers nice. Just friendly advise. Put a little more of a curve in the right wing and pick his head up a little.If you still can.

Wow, that's a great duck! My first duck was a flying mallard, and it was not a pretty sight (lol) Your duck looks better than lots of ducks that the taxidermists in my area mount. You seem to already have an "eye" for bird taxidermy, so consider yourself halfway there! Good luck in the future:o)

You took the right turn in the road on this one Chad. Good job!..If you can latch on to some good reference pictures of the way you want something to look it will really help you out in future mounts. Keep it up.
