when your mounting a flying goose how do you people get the meat out of the last joint(all the way at the end)? didn't realize that there was that much there until my wife asked what the smell was in our spare room. oooppps! talk about a unhappy wife. will that smell ever go away?

cut it open is it hard to stich it up properly? and will formaldahyde take care of it if you don't cut it open and remove the meat?

and you'll be finished before you ever even get your needle threaded.

you may have to put a little clay back in where you removed the meat.. sometimes I do sometimes I don't it just depends on what mood I'm in.

Put it in the garage for a few months.

Most of the smell will go away eventually, but the bacteria seems to cause the drying process to slow down, so it takes a long time and it never completely goes away unless you deodorize it. Either way the smell will not go away until the birds is completely dry to the bone, and that takes a long time. Just remember that if you dont cut the meat out it takes forever to dry even if you use formaldahyde. I made those mistakes when I first started and it can take months for that smell to go away.
