If your normal bathing routine doesn't do the trick, try a product called Whinks that is found at Wal-mart with the liquid Plummer. it's in a small brown bottle with a white cap.

It is acid, and should only take a brief second to work. then rinse. You dont want to let the skin soak in it by any means. Just a quick drenching of the stuff and you will see the color start to rinse away immediately.

Is it mounted yet?

You dont need to use Winks if its just dirt and blood. If the bird is yellowish Winks may be the ticket though.
