i just mounted a satnting mallard using a danny owens masters body (satnding style) and had a hard time getting the hummrus bone to lay right. i've used his flying bodys and have had great results so i tried the standing ones and not so great. anyone have any awsers to what i may have done wrong. thank you

It doesn't matter whose body you are using, you are still dealing with hard foam duplicating soft flesh. Carve out a section of foam for the humerous bone to lay in. Don't be afraid to make it too big--no one is going to see it. Done this way, you will have plenty of room to move things around. Speaking of plenty of room--make sure your body is the actual size of the one you took out of the bird or SMALLER! Lots of room in there translates into lots of mobility in the skin. Use soft fill such as fiber fill or chopped excelsior in the side pocket and crop area to take up space.
