Get some polyester resin and some fumed silica like cabo-sil. Mix silica into it until you get a paste a bit thicker than bondo, so that when you press something into it it doesn't slugh down again.
Have your paste and your dry dirt and your foot ready. Now catalyze your paste with MEKP the same way you would the resin. Mix in until you get a uniform colour change then apply it to your area. Throw your dry dirt on it - and I do mean THROW - you want it to hit the wet paste with some impact so it gets in there good. then press your foot into the dirt fairly hard. Allow it to cure - then brush off the excess dirt. It's as easy as that and looks 100% real. It's easy - but still be sure to practice on scraps first.
i also went to habit and checked that out. i forgot about the other forum categories
Give your base Texture with bondo. Place tracks in it with a spare foot, them make impressions where the turkey will stand. allow bondo to set. Mix Elmer's glue with water, in a sprat bottle. Then wet bondo up good, and sift dirt over it. the spray again with glue mix. Allow to dry over night. add some leaves, or what ever.
