Question about guineas

I'm wanting to mount a guinea, but don't know if I should use the original head or should I hvae it freeze dried.Does any one now if they sell guinea heads.

Freeze dry or mold and cast it.

Look through the molding archives, I posted a very complete guide to molding, you can use plaster and Chicago 501 casting latex (HAS TO BE CHICAGO 501) others dont work, I have tried them.

Or use silicone and any of the 2 part casting mediums.


I have em already made for you in several position with eyes

I truly believe that if you prevent them from making noise they will explode!
Oh ... wrong question ...

As for mounting them, I use the real head because of the hairs, but it's tricky and requires a nape incision and clipping the casque off of the skull from the inside.
It would save a TON of trouble to use one of Tony's heads.
