Hello I want aploijiaze for 2 things 1 doing dirty lundry in plublic
and poor gramy and spelling unlike Jeff brown with duckboyoregon
what jeff failed to metion is the following is that we both rasied birds. He taught me taxidermy about two years ago or so.I guess i will start with my situation about two year i had to quit doing finish carpenty which i did for about 10 years made $50.000.00 a year
or more then i fell off a roof and tore my ACL tendion as of last year
I just about lost my house in forcloser from lack of income as i
have no health insurasce to fix knee. So now I am trying to raise birds for a living last winter we took over about 50 live birds to jeffs farm and he helped me out buy talking care of some of my birds
jeff is mad at me for not coming down to pick up those live birds
promtly when summer was over but what jeff failed to mention is that
my girl freind whent to his house twice on my behavfe while i was working and he got mad becuase he had a pen that was about 200x200
hard to catch birds up but not imposable if he would have owned a net
whicch is nerthewr here or there. he also has about, give or take 40
bird shins that were my bird skins for mounting which in those trips
we were unable to get for he was to busy in the prosces of moving and
he did not have time to get them out of his frezzer which I understand.Now as for the birds Jeff is talking about those were duck
skins in my frezzer. He picked up those birds i want to say at the same time he picked up my live waterfowl and took care of them.back to the bird skins jeff was talking about those were traded for live duck jeff was getting out birds and wanted those to mount he knew dam
well those were 2nd at best they were not prime birds thats while I was going to mount them with my new taxidermy skill that jeff was
nice enfof to teach me.he called me up about 2 month on my CELL phnoe
and brought it to my attion that he had problems with severlae bird
skins he they fell apart on him i have yet to have a bird shin fall
apart on me but i am new at mounting so I dont no.Next last fall
my sister offerd me a job up in Vancouver Wa. to be Job site
Supperentant this was great I was going to sell my house get out of birds for a while I was working out of town for a long time this
made it almost imposable to get down to jeffs house to pick up live
birds and my bird skins that belonged to me.about 2 months ago while working for my sister in WA I lost my cell phone not stolen they wanted $250.00 top replace it so I decided to just use the house phone
what jeff also failed to mention is that all of my phone Numbers were stored
in the cell phone includeing his I do not have a working computer in my house and he knows that that is i gave him my home number again i e-mailed him from my dads home which is 4 hours away to call at home so I could come down and
pick up my birds skins he told he needed them out of his frezzer bad
Going back to the skins jeff is talking abbout when he first call me and told me that he had probles with them I told him to save them and
would use them for fly triers and I would would give him a Pintail
2 blue wings 1 cinnaom teal out of this years stock birds his was totly fine with that Jeff has not called me 1 time at home and left a me message I check e-mails at the libary today for the first time
sicne my dads house i do most all comutactions by phone. as for other pepole I have swerd this would be loonie bougie for shipping money on boxes that a paid hiom with a check that did not clear and will be taking care of soon.for that I am sorry.I need to get off now the computer says have 3 minutes left at the libary.

I have fewer brain cells for reading this post? Now I know why I don't buy pen raised birds anymore!
Ordered from Dan twice this season. Purchased a widgeon and a shovelor. Both birds arrived promptly and exceeded my expectations.
These birds were shipped from west coast to east guided by great communication (phone) from Dan.
And it has always been a great experience. As for Dan I read the post and have no idea what Point he is trying to make? I would highly recommend Doing business with Jeff Brown to anyone.
I have not even visited the taxidermy.net BECAUSE of post's like this. I had no idea there was even a "dan snyder" post going around. This morning a good friend called me to inform me of the recent post...this is the first I've seen any of the "dan snyder" crap on here.
First let me just personally thank MjVaden and Duckfeathers for their vote of confidence. I try my hardest to make people happy. Let me also say to rick....AMEN, this is why I no longer SELL pen raised birds. Then let me appologize to EVERYONE because this is a taxidermy forum and that is all that should be posted on here...the fact that anyone has to waist there time reading this childishness is the very reason I hardly visit here anymore if ever.
Dan...I'm confused at your post. You haven't called me back or written me in months. If you felt this way, you have my phone number and my email? why would you post it before you talked to me? I'm sorry you feel the way that you do, and feel I have done nothing to justify your attack. I do however, beleive that what goes around, comes around.... so I hope that you "duck" (no pun intended) when charma comes back to slap you for this one.
I've been a good freind of Dan's since I was about 16 I am now 29. I have nothing but good remarks about him. Dan introduced me to Jeff a year or so ago. Jeff has been OVERLY kind and generous to me. They are bothe stand up guys! Knowing this, I think this was more or less a comunication problem. Even if someone is at some fault, take one for the team, make good to the other and don't wreck a freindship over it. There is no jury here and certainly no judge.
P.S. Jeff I have an address for you to ship the crowned crane to.

I too am confused by the whole mix. My take on it was Jeff was nice enough to teach him taxidermy, take his birds in and help in rough times and now Dan is talking smack over the computer verses calling him. I think if Dan wanted to get a hold of Jeff bad enough he could have found a computer. Hell, everyone has one these days including the library. Just my 2 cents. Call eachother and work it out or don't......Just don't bring it here.

I would say the either Jeff (If he has DSL) or someone close to him made the first remarks on the thread above. Not Dan, he is defending himself against attacks. The first 3 IP numbers are the same and the only diffrence is the last number, which can fluctuate with DSL and other connections. In my opinion, Jeff is a snake in the grass. I have had dealings with him for some time, since before he was raisig birds just a few years ago, not 20 or so as stated elsewhere. He has done me wrong and several friends as well. If it came to a choice between Dan and Jeff as far as telling the truth, I would go with Dan any day. Jeff only cares about what benefits him and what he can get from people, IMO.
There are 3 posts in this thread that the IP numbers or monitor # (the red # anyway) are the same---Dane, Mike Vernelson, & Mjvaden.(wsup w/ that)
Anyway, all this childish bickering is stupid. Sounds to me like 2 friends helped each other, one hit a bump in the road of life and they had a disagreement. Move on and make it right or don't, depends what you think the frienship is worth. And I'm not trying to be rude Jeff, but if his birds were at your house you could've had your pick of them. Why complain you got some that fell apart and remember phone lines and e-mail work in both directions.
