I am learning Taxidermy and would like a couple of rooster pheasant to mount a standing and a flying one. Where can I find some around the Vinton, Iowa area?

are a great source for pheasants. Try this site for a preserve close to you. Preserves always have birds in the freezer for customers who want a bird mounted but none of the birds they took that day are in very good shape.
